Unstable 2.0

November -  January 2022

The game was created as my first independent project in the first half of the third year on a high school. It is a short platformer set in a fairy tale world. Thematically and visually it follows the game created on Game Jam where the main theme was unstable and we created there game called Unstable Rooster. The story is about an armed princess who is tasked to defend her kingdom from monsters that attacked it. 

The entire level was first created only in black and white version from sketches. The individual assets were then gradually exchanged for the final artwork which was stylized in the most fairy-tale style as it could be.

Enemies

The original idea how to makke the enemies in the game were just make weird, funny and evil looking some pozitive charakters from well-know fairy tales. After the first few tries, I restored to a more original processing. It was to use a child’ s imagination. In the kindergarden in Brno Chrlice, I asked the children to draw for me what they were afraid of. Then I redrawn their ideas into the art style used in the game.
